This Privacy Policy explains how Eat Today ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application.
By using Eat Today, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Eat Today does not require an account and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or IP address. The app works entirely anonymously.
The following information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers:
Certain anonymous information is collected automatically to improve the app's performance. This includes anonymous app usage events (e.g. which recipes are viewed or saved) via PostHog.
Eat Today lets you upload a photo when adding or editing a recipe. Uploaded photos are sent to and stored by ImgBB, a third-party image hosting service, and are displayed within the app.
Photos you upload may be visible to other users of the app. By uploading a photo, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and use that photo within the app and our related promotional materials. You confirm that you own the photo or otherwise have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe on anyone else's rights or contain content that violates these terms (e.g. identifiable third parties without their consent, or unlawful content).
Photos are stored by ImgBB under its own privacy practices and may remain accessible via a public URL. If you'd like a photo you uploaded removed, contact us at contact@eattoday.xyz.

These providers may collect anonymised data according to their own privacy practices. No personally identifiable information is intentionally transmitted.
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple's App Store. We never process or store payment card information. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous device identifier to verify whether a subscription is active.
If you opt in, Eat Today sends a daily meal-ideas reminder notification. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device — no data is sent to external servers for this purpose. You can disable notifications at any time in Settings.
Since no account is created, there is no user profile to delete. All data stored locally on your device is permanently removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data in your device settings.

Eat Today is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
